The Imperial Household in modern times is known to have been supportive of artists, making numerous visits to art exhibitions and purchasing excellent works to garner more public attention to Japan&#8217;s art world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"790\" src=\"\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/9f0c59a31a68465d34f3ce9f94430422.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-33453\"\/><figcaption><strong>Tree-Lined Avenue<\/strong><br>Ota Kijiro<br>Taisho era, 1914<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cTree-Lined Avenue,&#8221; a work themed on the season of autumn by modern-contemporary painter Ota Kijiro (1883-1951) which will go on public view for the first time since its debut more than a century ago in 1914, and &#8220;Court Lady,&#8221;
