The exhibition will give us an idea of how the facsimiles are made and how useful they have become.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"790\" src=\"\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/75f16c54d66b50acd45753204572b2bb.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32413\"\/><figcaption>Reproduction of &#8220;Birds and Animals in the Flower Garden&#8221;<br>Ito Jakuchu, Edo period (18th century)<br>Pair of six-fold screens<br>Donated to Shizuoka Prefectural Museum of Art<br>(Original housed at Shizuoka Prefectural Museum of Art) <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other reproductions to go on display include that of Ogata Korin&#8217;s &#8220;Cranes,&#8221; which was donated to the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum to enable museumgoers in Japan to view the well-made facsimile, while the original is housed at the Freer Gallery of Art in faraway Washington DC.
