The exhibition will also spotlight a number of Kasama ware masterpieces housed at the museum and owned by private collectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-tsumugu-blocks-modal-image wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/788b93e3670e7036789ea48c224f083d.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>Seifu Yohei III<br\/>Vase with cherry blossom design in Kyokusai(Transparent glaze on pink body technique)<br\/>Meiji period, 1905<br\/>The Museum of the Imperial Collections, Sannomaru Shozokan<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Sannomaru Shozokan \u2014 founded in 1993 and located in the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo \u2014 houses about 9,800 works of art passed down in the Imperial family. The museum is now closed for major renovations and has been putting on exhibitions in various parts of Japan to highlight the Imperial Household\u2019s affinity with local traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These exhibitions are organized with special cooperation from the Tsumugu Project, a joint effort between Japan\u2019s Cultural Affairs Agency, Imperial Household Agency and national daily newspaper The Yomiuri Shimbun (Tokyo) to help preserve the nation\u2019s artistic treasures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-tsumugu-blocks-modal-image wp-block-image\"><figure
