For fiscal 2023 (financial year starting on April 1), the project has chosen seven assets to help repair, including the seated statue of Yakushu Nyorai (Shinyakushi-ji temple, Nara; a designated national treasure of Japan) and the Buddha in Nirvana of Henmyo-in temple (Okayama Prefecture; a designated important cultural property).
